About course

This free online course covers the chromatography techniques most frequently used when purifying proteins. After completing the course, you will know the fundamentals of these techniques and how to appropriately use them in a lab setting.

The techniques covered are:

- Affinity chromatography (AC)

- Ion exchange chromatography (IEX)

- Size exclusion chromatography (SEC)

- Hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC)

- Multimodal, or mixed mode, chromatography (MM)

Each module includes an overview of the technique, typical applications, and practical guidance to get you started.

This course includes instructional images and videos as well as quizzes to test your knowledge. Each module can be accessed and completed individually with the full course taking around 1.5 hours to complete.
