About course
This free online course covers the fundamentals of the generic three-step CiPP protein purification strategy. The course explains the steps of CiPP: capture, intermediate purification, and polishing.
After completion, you’ll know how to use the strategy for setting up your purification protocols of untagged proteins, affinity-tagged proteins, and antibodies to obtain the required purify and yield.
In addition, you’ll find tips on how to keep your purification columns in good shape. You’ll also get recommendations on how to overcome common chromatography run issues.
Before taking the course, we recommend that you are familiar with the various chromatography techniques used for protein purification. If you need a refresher, check out the online course Get to know: chromatography techniques.
The Get started: protein purification course includes instructional images and videos as well as quizzes to test your knowledge. You can access and complete each lesson individually, with the full course taking around 40 minutes to complete.
